To begin, first things first, I want to remind you that there is no way to do this wrong. However long it takes for you to stop smoking is what it takes, after all your life depends on it. I recommend that you listen to this recording twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening everyday. Now, I know life happens so listen as often as you can and follow the steps outlined. If you are new to meditation and mindfulness practices such as guided self hypnosis then it is very normal for you to have thoughts moving through your mind. Some people say, ” I just can quiet my mind.” Well, the truth is you are not your thoughts, so the easiest way is to just let your thoughts slow down on their own. There is no wrong or right way. Simply enjoy the guided relaxation and remind yourself that is just a thought but right now I am bringing my attention back to listening or observing your very own rhythmic breathing patterns. Simply let my voice be your guide. Never use this recording while operating machinery or driving. Only use this in a safe place away from distractions where your attention to your environment is not necessary. Kick back, relax and enjoy the wellness benefits of deep relaxation while the suggestions you hear abolish this disgusting and life defeating habit forever.
After the first session you notice a wonderful sense of relaxation and overtime your inner attitude, behaviours and thoughts will simply change to support your true desire, to be free from this addiction. Change is a process not an event so be consistent and patient with yourself as you untangle cigarettes from your life. You have not done anything wrong, big tobacco knows what they are doing and keeping you addicted and taking your money is their only goal.
